On August 30th, 2016, I was heading to a softball game. It was raining and there was a possibility that I wouldn’t get to play. I had been praying the entire way to Scottsville, Kentucky, that the rain would end and I would be able to play the game that I love. We were almost to the softball field when the rain stopped and the rays of sunlight began to peek out from behind the cloud. At that moment, I was reminded of my coach. Our team lost our coach in a car accident right before our softball season started. I knew after seeing those rays of sunlight shining through the cloud, that my coach was watching over us. I knew that he wanted us to play. This picture, taken with my iPhone 6, captures all of the feelings that I had and still have for my coach...love, admiration, and comfort.
