Tennis Unveiling

Caverna’s tennis program has a brand-new home. After months of planning, the school’s tennis courts got a full makeover and now feature a fresh look in the school’s signature purple. Students, local residents, and community leaders came out to celebrate the opening, which also honored Terry Bunnell for his long-time dedication to tennis in the area.

Tennis Courts The courts were completely rebuilt from scratch, turning an old, worn-out surface into a modern space for athletes to enjoy. Funding came from a mix of school support, community donations, and help from tennis organizations, showing what can happen when people come together for a shared goal. The project is part of a bigger effort to upgrade facilities around the school.

Bunnell, whose own tennis journey started at Caverna, played a big role in making the project happen. Thanks to his fundraising and the support of local groups and neighbors, a large portion of the cost was covered. The new courts are more than just a place to play—they’re a community achievement and a reminder of how sports can bring people together.
