During the May 14 Board of Education meeting, all schools within the Caverna Independent district were proudly recognized as BETA Schools of Distinction, an honor that reflects the outstanding achievements and dedication of both students and educators across the district.

The National BETA program is the nation’s largest independent, non-profit educational youth organization focused on promoting academic achievement, character, leadership, and service. BETA members are given opportunities to grow as leaders, compete in academic and creative events, participate in service projects, and build skills that prepare them for success beyond the classroom.

Earning the honor of a BETA School of Distinction highlights the commitment of Caverna schools to fostering excellence and creating opportunities for students to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Students involved in BETA are encouraged to lead with integrity, serve their communities, and strive for their highest potential. District leaders expressed pride in the accomplishment and praised students, sponsors, staff, and families for their continued support of the program.

This recognition reflects the culture of excellence, leadership, and student achievement being cultivated throughout the district. Caverna Independent Schools remains committed to empowering students through opportunities that inspire growth, leadership, and lifelong success.
